IV Vitamin C
Intravenous Vitamin C (IVC) at Okoboji Wellness Clinic is not a one-size “high-dose drip.” It is a physician-directed, redox-focused tool used within a broader functional and integrative plan.
Guided by history, goals, and, when appropriate, laboratory data, Dr. Meyer uses IVC to:
Provide direct, high-concentration Vitamin C delivery into the bloodstream
Influence redox balance and mitochondrial function when oral strategies alone may not be sufficient
Complement hyperbaric oxygen therapy, ozone, platelet-based therapies, and other regenerative approaches
Contribute to tissue repair, wound-healing strategies, and post-injury or post-procedural recovery
Offer additional redox support for guests navigating complex fatigue, immune dysregulation patterns, or integrative cancer journeys, always as part of a wider plan—not as stand-alone treatment
Dosing, infusion rate, and frequency are individualized and carefully titrated for each patient—deliberate and data-informed, not generic or routine. IVC may be used more intensively during defined phases—such as pre-operative conditioning, post-surgical or post-dental procedure recovery, wound-healing programs, athletic recovery blocks, or structured detoxification and chelation plans—and then tapered or transitioned to oral and maintenance strategies as appropriate.
Safety, monitoring, and thoughtful sequencing with other therapies are central to how IVC is delivered in this healing center.
