Dr. Meyer is a board-certified Family Physician and Iowa Native. He is licensed in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Illinois & Wisconsin. Dr. Meyer received his medical degree from Des Moines University. He completed his Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.  Dr. Meyer was the Chief of Family Medicine at Moody AFB in Valdosta, Georgia. While there, he deployed to the Middle East, providing routine and emergency medical care. He returned to Iowa in 2011, practicing Family Medicine in the greater Des Moines area.

In 2018, Dr. Meyer joined a medical practice in his hometown of Okoboji, Iowa. During the pandemic, he was a strong advocate for early broad-spectrum treatment. This treatment often consisted of vitamins, glutathione precursors and prescription medications such as Ivermectin.

In 2022, he launched the “Okoboji Wellness Clinic” (OWC), an Integrative Medical Clinic with Direct Provider Care, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Here, you can get your routine Family Medicine care or take a deeper dive into chronic conditions through a functional medicine/nutrition “root cause” approach. The focus is on equipping the guest with the right education, support and tools as our team walks alongside you in your wellness journey. This often involves multiple complementary medical approaches and modalities.

In 2022, at the same location, the AeroNautix Performance Clinic was opened. Hope, Healing and Hyperbarics is the mission. Hyperbaric therapy has helped facilitate some incredible medical recoveries with hyperbaric air/oxygen therapy including: memory/dementia, neuropathy, post-stroke motor deficit recovery, multiple sclerosis, COVID long haul, traumatic brain injury (TBI), concussions and more.

Dr. Meyer has shared his medical and professional journey nationally on multiple platforms, including The Defender Podcast with RFK Jr. He was featured in “Doctors Order’s,” a documentary about the COVID-19 pandemic created by Defending the Republic, under the direction of Sidney Powell.

Dr. Meyer is happily married. He and his wife Carrie have three children together. They enjoy being by the water, boating, fishing and gardening.
